We are looking for a dedicated Optician to join our team and provide exceptional eye care services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze clients' eyeglasses or contact lenses by measuring eye curvature, pupillary distance, and bridge width using optical devices.
• Obtain specifications for eyeglasses and contact lenses from prescriptions prepared by an ophthalmologist or optometrist.
• Supervise or manage activities of other opticians or student opticians.
• Assist clients in selecting eyeglasses and advise on the use and care of contact lenses.
• Adjust finished eyeglasses to fit clients.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of college or CEGEP education in a relevant field.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
• Proficiency in English.
• Personal suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, with efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, reliability, and a team player attitude.
