We are seeking an enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Gravenhurst, ON. As part of our specialty shop, you will provide on-site customer service and support in a rural area setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments.
• Prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts.
• Operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
• Provide advice about merchandise and assist in the display of merchandise.
• Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce.
• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• Greet customers and discuss type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
• Maintain sales records for inventory control and prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
• No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Ability to handle heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
