Located at 725 Coursol Road, Sturgeon Falls, ON, West Nipissing General Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker (NCU and LTC) 2025-56 to join our healthcare team. This full-time opportunity offers a rewarding career in a supportive and dynamic environment, where you will work 37.5 hours per week and earn between $28.27 and $30.39 per hour. This position works a combination of shifts in our Nursing Care Unit and Interim Long-Term Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality personal care and support to patients in both the Nursing Care Unit (NCU) and Long-Term Care (LTC) settings.
2. Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
3. Monitor and report any changes in patients' health status to the healthcare team.
4. Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care plans.
5. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
6. Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.

Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program.
2. Current certification in First Aid and CPR.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
5. Experience in a healthcare setting is an asset, but not mandatory.
