Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist physiotherapists in delivering high-quality care to patients by preparing treatment areas and equipment.
2. Support patients during therapy sessions, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
3. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and report any changes to the physiotherapy team.
4. Help in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physiotherapist.
5. Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy spaces and equipment.

Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Completion of a recognized Physiotherapy Assistant program or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
2. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
3. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
4. Basic understanding of physiotherapy principles and practices.
5. CPR and First Aid certification is an asset.
