Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of respiratory conditions.
2. Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
4. Educate patients and their families on respiratory health management and preventive measures.
5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and progress.
6. Stay informed about the latest advancements in respiratory therapy and incorporate best practices into patient care.

Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO).
2. Proven experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on respiratory care.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
5. Flexibility to work varying hours, up to 37.5 hours per week, depending on the needs of the hospital.

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $38.35 to $53.28
