Located in the heart of Northern Ontario, West Nipissing General Hospital (WNGH) is a progressive and welcoming community hospital that provides high-quality, patient-centered care. Built in 1977, WNGH has grown into a modern, well-equipped facility that continues to evolve with the changing needs of our community. With 100 beds in operation, we serve a broad population with a strong commitment to excellence, collaboration, and innovation in healthcare.

WNGH offers a 24/7 Emergency Department, staffed by skilled General Practitioners and supported by visiting Surgeons, Anesthetists, and Internists. Our emergency team delivers responsive, compassionate care, ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate treatment around the clock.

In addition to acute and emergency care, the hospital is proud to host a diverse range of specialty clinics and visiting services. These include cardiology, urology, nephrology, otolaryngology (ENT), psychiatry, and endoscopy, as well as minor surgical procedures such as lumps and bumps. These visiting specialists allow us to deliver advanced care locally, minimizing the need for patients to travel outside the region.

As an organization, we are committed to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for our healthcare team. Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced professional, WNGH offers exciting opportunities to grow your career in a setting that values innovation, learning, and community. Our staff benefit from a strong team culture, modern facilities, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

If you're looking for a rewarding healthcare career in a community that truly values its care providers, West Nipissing General Hospital is a place where your work can make a difference.
