Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide essential administrative support to the Executive Officer and Board of Directors
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes at various board and member meetings
- Organize and maintain digital records, member databases, and other organizational files
- Assist in planning and coordinating professional development events, workshops, and networking opportunities
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from members, clients, and the public
Bookkeeping & Financial Support
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions
- Reconcile bank statements, assist with budget tracking, and ensure financial records are up-to-date
- Prepare financial reports for board meetings and assist with annual audits
- Work closely with external accountants to maintain compliance with nonprofit and industry-specific financial standards
Communications & Member Services
- Manage communications to CKAR members, including newsletters, email updates, and other important announcements
- Implement member services and support, ensuring the smooth operation of membership renewals, events, and inquiries
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, social media updates, and other member outreach efforts
- Help maintain CKAR's public image and brand through consistent, professional messaging and communication
Website & Digital Content Management
- Oversee and manage the content on CKAR’s website, ensuring all information is accurate, current, and aligned with the association’s goals
- Collaborate with team members to update event listings, educational resources, and industry news on the website
- Ensure the website is user-friendly, accessible, and optimized for member engagement
